Are you passionate about marketing, communication, and brand building? Do you want to gain hands‑on experience working on real campaigns, events, and digital initiatives in an international environment? Join our team as a Marketing Intern in Madrid, where you will support the execution of integrated marketing activities across the region.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, sales teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders, you will contribute to brand initiatives, PR activities, and digital communication efforts. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical marketing skills, gain exposure to industry best practices, and understand how marketing supports business growth in the lighting sector.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of marketing initiatives, campaigns, seminars, events, and promotions in coordination with Sales and Regional Brand Communications.
- Assist in documenting projects, gathering customer references, and sharing best practices across the region.
- Support the rollout of PR activities for all brands in the Zumtobel Group, adapting centrally provided materials to local market needs when required.
- Contribute to social media and community management activities (e.g., LinkedIn and internal platforms such as Lightweb).
- Assist in the use of marketing automation tools (e.g., Pardot) for campaign execution and tracking.
- Support internal and external communication activities, ensuring consistency in brand messaging.
- Review and help refine communication and marketing materials to effectively support the sales team.
Skills & Experience
- Current enrollment in a university degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in marketing, communications, and brand management, ideally within the lighting, architecture, or design sectors.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing, e‑marketing, or e‑commerce; familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Pardot) and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
- Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages (especially Portuguese) are an advantage.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven mindset with a hands‑on, entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to take initiative.
