The Opportunity
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team in Madrid and gain hands-on experience working with real-world power system applications.
What You’ll Do
- Power system protection fundamentals (protective relays, settings and testing)
- Industrial control and automation systems (PLCs, SCADA)
- Communication protocols (IEC-61850, DNP3, Modbus, Ethernet systems)
- Engineering documentation and technical specifications
- Support senior engineers in real electrical infrastructure projects
What You’ll Learn
- Electrical power systems and grid operation
- Protection and control strategies for critical infrastructure
- Automation and system integration
- Application of SEL products in real-world environments
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Electrical Engineering
- Strong academic exposure to power systems and electrical networks
- Interest in power system protection, control, or grid operation
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English and Spanish
